What Makes Eclipse Different?

Traditional CPAP masks rely on headgear and pressure to create a seal. The Eclipse system takes a completely different approach by using disposable Halos adhesive seals combined with magnetic MagSeal technology. This unique design creates a lightweight connection that many users find more comfortable and less restrictive than conventional CPAP masks.

Because nothing is inserted into the nostrils, many users experience less nasal irritation compared to traditional nasal pillow-style masks.

Compatibility

The Eclipse Halos CPAP Mask System is compatible with virtually all CPAP and BiLevel machines and includes a 16-inch universal connector tube.

Note: Users of ResMed AirMini™ travel CPAP machines may require a compatible adapter for use with non-ResMed masks.

Skin Preparation & Best Use Practices

For optimal Halo adhesion:

1. Clean the application area thoroughly.
2. Remove oils using a mild astringent such as witch hazel or Bleep DreamPreps™.
3. For very oily skin, isopropyl alcohol may be used.
4. Ensure skin is completely dry before applying Halos.

Avoid using soaps, makeup removers, or oily facial products before application, as they may interfere with adhesion.

Helpful Tip

For the most secure experience, many users benefit from using a CPAP hose lift system to help support tubing weight and reduce accidental disconnection of the magnetic frame during sleep.

For Sensitive Skin

The Halo adhesive is designed to be gentle and hypoallergenic; however, a small percentage of users may experience sensitivity. If you have sensitive skin, consider testing a small piece of adhesive on your arm before use. Skin barrier products may also help improve comfort.
